Corn is a strategic agricultural commodity in Central Java Province because this plant the second main food crop after rice. Evaluation of agro-climate suitability aims to assess suitable areas based on climatic conditions and efforts overcome climate-limiting factors order achieve optimal productivity corn cultivation. Satellite imagery can be used lack density climate stations, which are source data for evaluation. This study validate GSMaP satellite rainfall Terra MODIS air temperature against BMKG observation data, create distribution map conditions, classes GIS maize Province. uses from 30 points 20 years (2001–2020). The correlation values, RMSE, MBE were calculated with observed temperature. correction calculations fill at without observation. validation results show that valid there pattern conformity observational data. province has an annual 1,500 mm/year 6,000 mm/year, average 24.9oC 28.1oC, three nine months wet months. In some areas, class plants was moderately category (S2wa, tc) area 156,302 ha, marginally (S3wa) 1,277,813 not (Nwa) 2,008,673 ha.
